What is post cataract care?
Secondary cataract or after-cataract is an opacification of the posterior capsule of the lens that may appear after a few months or years of having undergone a cataract extraction. This prevents the passage of light to the retina and leads to loss of vision.

Can a cornea be repaired?
In penetrating keratoplasty, the entire cornea is replaced with a donor tissue. However, in a newer procedure called lamellar keratoplasty, only the damaged layers are replaced with a donor graft, and the healthy part of the cornea is left intact.
